Nicholas Bruner writes short stories and novels. H
e has worked in the Washington, DC, area for fifteen years as a technical
writer for various defense agencies. He would tell you more, but he would have to bore
you to death.
He has also worked as a
carnie at Opryland, a summer camp counselor in Hungary,
a construction worker in Germany,
a swimming pool installer, an assistant for an explosives crew, and a pizza
deliverer. (All true.) He is looking to add novelist to his list of
unlikely job titles.
He lives in Fairfax, Virginia,
with his librarian wife and two children. He intends to spend any proceeds from selling
his stories and novels on vintage comic books and jazz albums before his wife can intercept
the money and put it in the kids’ college funds.
